Testimonials

Volunteers provide an important link between the
community and the nursing home resident. Many
are involved in the activity program because they
have special talents and skills to contribute. Many
others assist residents who have disabilities, to
 participate in activities. Friendly volunteer visitors
provide one-to-one relationships for residents.

Regardless of their specific roles in the home, volunteers must be recruited, oriented, and supervised to be used effectively. A dedicated group of volunteers from the community is testimony to a concerned nursing home.
