When Gibbs Care Center first opened its doors in 1977, it began a tradition of excellence in caring for the citizens of our community and surrounding communities. As a pioneer in caring for family members in a skilled nursing care setting, Gibbs Care Center has taken pride in its innovative concepts, warm, home like atmosphere, and imaginative ideas.

Gibbs Care Center is a certified and licensed Medicare and Medicaid provider. We provide multiple levels of care which includes long term skilled nursing care, assisted living (Residential Care), shorter term therapy, and rehabilitation.

In addition, Gibbs Care Center also provides a high level of medical care. A licensed physician supervises each patient’s care and a nurse or other medical professional is always on the premises. Skilled nursing care is available on site, 24 hours a day.

Other medical professionals such as occupational or physical therapists are also available. This allows the delivery of medical procedures and therapies on site that would not otherwise be possible.
